We are especially fortunate to have a representative of the College again in Toronto.
Professor Grimson was the first woman president of the Institution of Engineers of Ireland (IEI). She was educated at Alexandra School and graduated from Trinity in engineering in 1970. She gained an MSc in Computer Science at the University of Toronto before returning to Scotland to do a PhD at the University of Edinburgh. Her research involves databases and health informatics. We are once more counting on your strong support for a large gathering.
